Fort Condor
This fort is actually a big Mako reactor. But ever since a big condor made a nest on top of it, people are trying to protect it from the Shinra. Come and protect the noble people of Fort Condor.

Junon
Another mako city (like Midgar) is Junon. It used to be a quiet little harbour town, but ever since the Shinra built a reactor, things change. A huge cannon defends the city from any incoming enemies. The city also has an airfield and an underwater reactor.

A place of planet study and spirituality. Cosmo Canyon is also Red XIII's hometown. An old man called Bugenhagen lives here who can tell you a lot about the planet. You may also have to venture through the Cave of the Gi.

Nibelheim
This is Cloud and Tifa's hometown. The Shinra Mansion is also located in this town. According to Cloud, this town was burned down by Sephiroth 5 years ago. However, when you return to this town, it is completely rebuild.

This used to be a rocket launch platform. But ever since the lift off failed, people build houses around it. Now its a quiet town with a big rocket standing at the edge of it. This is Cid Highwind's home town.

Wutai
Wutai is a resort town where Yuffie comes from. Ever since the inhabitants of Wutai lost the war against Shinra they entertain all tourists that visit Wutai. Near Wutai are the Da-Chao mountains.

Temple of the Ancients
This temple is complex and dangerous. Many mysterious things are found here. Inside you'll find a clockroom, a soul pool and many other weird things.

City of the Ancients
Remains of an old city once build by the Cetra (Also known as the Ancients). Now only weird shell houses remain. On disc 2 you'll need a key to start the projector. To get this key, take the submarine and look underwater near the Icicle area.

Gold Saucer
This is the place were you can race chocobos play games, battle with other people in the battle arena and play games in wonder square. you can go watch plays at the stage and battle in the battle arena, meet new people have fun and enjoy.

Icicle area and village
A snowy place near the cliffs of the Northern Cave. You'll need to find a snowboard here to proceed to the Northern Cave. A mini snowboard game can be played here.

The Northern Cave
Also called the Mako Pit or Final Dungeon. This is the last road to Sephiroth. Most creatures in this place are tough (No challenge though). You can find a lot of interesting items and materias here although you must search for them thoroughly.

Mideel
Mideel is a quiet town where people come to visit the hotsprings. You can buy excellent weapons here. After the Lifestream erupts, you can get the Contain materia.

Chocobo Sage
this is the small little hut with a small floating slow whited man known as the chocobo sage. he sells some very rare chocobo breeding nuts for very high prices. hope you have alot of gil.

Bone Village, and the Sleeping Forest
Bone village is more a digging site then a village. Here you can dig for the key to Midgar or the Lunar Harp. If you're able to find the Lunar Harp. you can proceed through the Sleeping Forest. This forest is the gateway to the City of the Ancients.
